My vivid soul – Longing for Istanbul

Ever since I made my Erasmus semester at the Sabancı Üniversitesi in Istanbul in 2009/2010, I am in love with this city at the Bophorus. Probably ‘city’ doesn’t meet it. Istanbul is such a gigantic, vivid melting pot – it charges my batteries, it gives me energy. Since then I am trying to visit this metropolis once a year – and if I don’t manage, I at least skim through my memories.

At this point I feel like sharing some of my recent memories with you. Some pictures are actually from Diyarbakır, one of the most Eastern cities in Turkey, which I was visiting in 2012. You can find the full details of the photos in the Flickr set.
